The interpreter's role shall be limited to that of interpreting, not offering opinions or suggestions.

The court does not provide interpreters for Small Claims and Civil cases. The attorney for the party or the party without an attorney shall provide, in advance, for the interpreter and shall be responsible for their compensation.

Request an Interpreter

If you have a hearing or other court appearance scheduled and need the services of an interpreter (Spanish, sign language, etc.), please contact the Court Interpreter Coordinator to make arrangements.

You will be asked to complete a Request for Interpreter Form.

Please allow a minimum of 10 days before the scheduled hearing so that an interpreter may be provided. The court will make every effort to accommodate your request.
